Hello. I have an upcoming contract to port the tool kit to Windows
Embedded Compact 7. The customer is asking for the port to be fully
pushed to the mainline where it can be maintained. So I am reaching out
to the development team early before the project starts to discuss.
I have many years of software development experience working with open
source. I must admit that I have made very few contributions in my time,
however I am aware that it is important to reach out to developers and
make early small patches towards the end goal, if I have any chance of
succeeding in getting my contribution excepted.
I hope that I am well received, and that you are interested in accepting
support for WEC7 into the code base.
Best regards,
Ben Tucker
