[openssl-dev] RNG seeding

There has been a great deal of useful discussion about how OpenSSL should seed its random number generator (CSPRNG).

There's now a pull request that is mostly complete.  Please  take a look at https://github.com/openssl/openssl/pull/3956  and feel free to comment.

In particular,  https://github.com/richsalz/openssl/blob/rand-seed/crypto/rand/rand_unix.c has all supported seeding options for linux/unix systems; you can send feedback to me directly or post to the list.
