Monthly Status Report (July 2022)

My key activities this month were:

- triage of newly reported issues, investigating bugs, and responding 
  to public github and customer questions
- participation on the meetings
- participation on QUIC design and implementation
  - this month reviewing various design and implementation PRs from
other contractors
- reviews of various PRs:
  - I've reviewed about 85 PRs this month
  - Notable PRs reviewed:
    - "Reserve" the method store when constructing methods #18153
    - Pre-declare all core dispatch table functions, and fix the
internal ones #18198
    - Add BIO_s_dgram_mem() #18596
    - Implement AES-GCM-SIV (RFC8452) #18693
    - QUIC Frame Encoding and Decoding Functions #18795
    - Clean gcm128 #18835

- submitted 7 PRs:
  - In particular:
    - SSL object refactoring using SSL_CONNECTION object #18612
    - For known safe primes use the minimum key length according to RFC
7919 #18793
    - Fix regression from GCM mode refactoring #18903
    - ec_kmgmt.c: Do not crash when getting
OSSL_PKEY_PARAM_ENCODED_PUBLIC_KEY #18902

I also took 1 day off this month and there were 2 days of public
holidays in the Czech Republic.
