[openssl-users] Escaped Issuer/Subject

Hi!

Is it possible to get the distinguished name of issuer or subject in a 
escaped form out of the box?

e.g.
C=US, O=test, Inc., OU=department=1, CN=tester <sam>"
C=US, O=test\, Inc., OU=department\=1, CN=tester \<sam\>"
