Cross-compiling OpenSSL 1.1.1 - specifying toolchain

Trying to compile OpenSSL using Bootlin tool chains for ARMv5 UCLIBC found at https://toolchains.bootlin.com/

Does anyone have recent experience compiling OpenSSL 1.1.1 specifying alternate tool-chains?

What commands did you use?
