I just had another look at Cgwin, and it builds find, but tests in the
70 range seem to fail a bit randomly, in ways that may be the same as
we've started experiencing on Travis and that Ben and Bernd have
reported here yesterday. My VirtualBox is a slug, so it will take
some time before I can say anything more conclusive, but there ya
go, we may have found something that's not actually limited to Cygwin,
but our installation may be of such nature that they caught the issue
first.
I'll get back on this.
