A quick test proves to me that it does confuse it. The chances of 2
characters of base64 at the beginning of a lines are "ok" (assuming
evenly distributed data) is about 1 in 4000. But the store test outputs
100s of lines of base64 so this will increase the odds significantly.

Richard - any ideas?
