[openssl-project] What's a new feature, vs what's a fix?

➢ In my mind even simple new functions (getters/setters) are a new
    feature. Its just that, as a matter of pragmatism, we have decided to
    allow them (effectively they are a "fix" for a broken design).
    
I slightly disagree.  We explicitly decided to treat them as a bugfix, not because of a broken design, but because we knew we wouldn’t get enough feedback to make sure we had everything.  I think that’s important.
